After Eurasia Packaging İstanbul: Visitors Who Brought Projects and Needs

NEWS

Eurasia Packaging İstanbul closed its doors on October 16 after four days at TÜYAP Büyükçekmece. It was our first year at this fair and the third trade fair we have exhibited at. Before it opened, we said we would bring one subject instead of an equipment list: the flow between machines. What made that subject clear in the end was the line running on our stand.

A Line That Actually Ran

The centerpiece of the stand was a conveyor line built on a raised platform, and visitors watched it run with boxes moving along the belts. Five different Intralox belts carried the product. On the straights we used S400, S1000 and S1500 modular belts; the curves ran on S2400 belts and on Zero Tangent Radius belts.

We matched each belt to its section because a straight run and a curve ask different things of a belt. A curve needs a belt built to turn, one that carries product through the bend. Not every part of the line was new: in some sections we mounted existing belts on new frames. The stand also had a panel dedicated to our elevator conveyors.

From the End of the Line to the Warehouse

We shared the stand this year with our partner Oppent, whose autonomous mobile robot stood in one corner of it. The packaging machine can look like the last stop, but the product still has one more trip to make: to the warehouse. Having both systems on one stand let visitors see the two ends of that route side by side.

The setup also made a limit we stated before the fair easy to see. We do not supply the robot a plant uses; we build the flow it connects to. Where the conveyor hands product to the robot, the two systems have to work together, or the flow breaks at that point.

What We Heard From Visitors

Day two was a busy one on the stand. Most visitors fell into one of two groups: those who arrived with a project, and those who described a similar need in their own plant. Some came from outside the packaging industry, and those conversations showed us how widely our equipment can be used across very different sectors.

One of the teams we met works for a large-scale food investor. They gave us a detailed picture of their company, and we had a warm exchange about a possible partnership. We cannot say today which of the conversations started at the fair will turn into projects. This piece only reports what we saw and heard on the stand.

Through the Team's Eyes

On the stand, Alp Ramazan asked our colleagues to sum up the fair in one word. Five answers came back: network from Zafer, prestige from Sefa, future from İdil, vision from Orhan and experience from Eren. Alp's own preference is clear: at a fair, a new partnership excites him more than a new project. In his view, the partnerships that last, grounded in experience and in knowledge carried through the family, are what have kept Aliş Makina going over the years.

Thank You

Intralox supplied the belts and backed us on this line, and we thank their team for it. Thank you also to the Oppent team for accepting our invitation and sharing the stand with us. And thanks to our team, who welcomed visitors for four days, and to everyone who stopped by.
