Textile Sorting Line

This project encompasses a conveyor line solution that enables controlled transfer of collected clothing in textile recycling facilities to weighing and category-based sorting processes. The PVC and PU belt conveyor structure creates balanced distribution to operator stations and supports flow continuity in high-volume sorting operations.

Industry

Textile recycling – sorting lines

Belt Type

Multi-station textile sorting line

Line Components

PVC/PU belt conveyor line, weighing module, operator station layout

Flow Type

Collection → Weighing → Category-based sorting → Operator feeding

Line Structure and Applied Solution

In this project, a system consisting of PVC and PU belt conveyor lines was established to provide regular feeding for textile waste weighing and category-based sorting processes. The weighing module was positioned to obtain weight information before products reach operator stations. Clothing was balanced distributed to tables with conveyor geometry suitable for a 40-station sorting arrangement. The stainless steel and aluminum frame structure increased line durability while facilitating maintenance access.

Precise Control in Flow Management

The PVC/PU belt structure prevents clothing from slipping on the belt during movement. Sensor-supported occupancy monitoring points track line density and automatically adjust speeds. Real-time transfer of weighing data to the automation system provides balanced product flow to operators, increasing the accuracy of the sorting process.

Balanced product distribution to operator stations

Increased process accuracy through transfer of weighing data to automation

Stable conveying in high-volume sorting operations

Reduced operator cycle times through regular feeding structure

Data-driven line management through sensor-assisted fullness monitoring

Long-lasting use with durable frame structure

Applications

Category-based sorting in textile recycling facilities

Operator feeding lines after weighing

Product routing in high-volume textile collection centers
